autoTRADER Pro on the road to success in Scandinavia
In the last newsletter we presented our new autoTRADER Pro. It is attracting a large audience on the market and is thus continuing the success story of the autoTRADER. Two industry giants in the Scandinavian region already rely on the Pro variant for their intraday activities.
Particular emphasis should be placed on the extremely short duration for one of the projects to be made operational. It took just 96 hours from installing the server to the first production operation. Such short project processing times are possible thanks to the standardisation of the autoTRADER, the basic framework of the Periotheus Suite, which can be easily integrated into existing system environments, and of course a well-practised team.
The connection to multiple exchanges (Nord Pool and EPEX Spot) allowed the autoTRADER to record strong growth in the Nord Pool market and thus assert its position as a pioneer in the market.
New customer in Switzerland
Alongside Northern Europe, the market share in Western Europe has also increased. We succeeded in gaining SN Energie as another customer in Switzerland. After a tender process, Periotheus will in future replace the existing EDM system (previously IRM).
As well as VisoTech’s expertise in the energy industry, the fact that all of SN Energie’s requirements can be directly fulfilled by Periotheus was a key factor in making the decision. Thanks to the resulting short project processing time, this Periotheus installation will also begin its service shortly.
2017 User Forum
The preparations for the User Forum on 9th November are progressing and we are pleased that we have already managed to acquire the first guest speaker with a very interesting topic.
Based on the initial responses, we are counting on a much larger number of participants than the previous user forum. It is already becoming apparent that, as with our customer base, this year’s User Forum will be more international.
Not least because of the great interest in the autoTRADER the VisoTech team continues to grow. Christian Ring will strengthen the company as Sales Manager.
Mr Ring comes from the financial sector, where he worked for many years in the trading sector. Thanks to the strengthening of the Sales department, we will be able to respond to your requests even faster in the future.
