Accenture is also intensively discussing the topic of digitalisation in the economy and is demonstrating the enormous potential hidden in automation and the use of artificial intelligence.
The consulting firm recently published a study called “How AI boosts industry profits and innovation” in collaboration with the market research institute Frontier Economics. The potential increase in gross value added was forecast up to 2035 for 16 industries in twelve national economies based on a statistical model.
According to Accenture, by 2035 the use of artificial intelligence could cause an increase in the gross value added of 12.5 billion Euros.
Accenture also identified significant potential for efficiency increases, particularly in capital-intensive sectors such as production. Optimised maintenance windows and improved capacity utilisation as a result of artificial intelligence could increase the corresponding profits by 39 percent by 2035. Read the complete study here:
